Evidence found at Hernandez's Franklin condo
FRANKLIN, Mass. (WHDH) -- Additional evidence against Aaron Hernandez was found in a condominium complex in Franklin, where neighbors say the former New England Patriot was renting a unit.
Investigators said they found ammunition to a .22 caliber gun at the condo that was similar to the ammunition found at this North Attleboro home.
Neighbors said Hernandez and a man who they say is his cousin moved to the condo in May, but they said they didn’t recognize it was Hernandez until the murder investigation began.
“When the murder investigation began I thought oh my gosh my part-time next-door neighbor is now suspected in a murder case,” said neighbor, Carol Bailey.
She said he wasn’t very pleasant.
“Whenever I saw him he had a hoodie up over his head and was very unfriendly,” said Bailey.
Neighbors said Hernandez and his cousin often drove a large black hummer. The Vehicle was towed to the North Attleboro Police Department on Wednesday.
Neighbors added no one has been at the apartment in the last few weeks.
