A Randolph man appears in court for road rage incident
RANDOLPH, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Randolph man was accused of beating another driver during an apparent case of road rage.
Phillip Vasialka was accused of following the victim to the gas station because he believed the other man drove too fast down his street.
Police said Vasialka confronted 25-year-old David Bazer inside the store and hit him twice in the face. Bazer had to undergo reconstructive surgery for serious injuries to his jaw.
“I cried when I saw him, and he hugged me and said to me ‘Mom don’t worry, I’m going to be okay,’” said Bazer’s mother, Gail.
Vasialka was charged with assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
