Man crashes with unsecured 2-month-old in car
HINGHAM, Mass. (WHDH) -- A 34-year-old man was arraigned in court Wednesday on eight charges stemming from a car crash early in the morning.
One of the charges, child endangerment, stems from the investigators’ beliefs that the man’s two-month-old child was in the back seat and was not properly buckled in.
Police said Justin Kennaway was driving through Hingham at 4 a.m. when he drove off the road and crashed into an electrical box.
Kennaway, his girlfriend and their two-month-old child were all safely out of the vehicle when police arrived.
The child was not seriously injured.
Investigators say Kennaway was very talkative but he was somewhat avoiding their questions. They also say they found an adderall and unused syringes in the vehicle.
