Estate sale at former Schilling home
MEDFIELD, Mass. -- An estate sale was held at the former home of Curt Schilling Saturday.
A pitching machine, DVD's and a tambourine were among the items up for sale.
While some say there were there to find a deal, others admitted they just wanted a glimpse inside Schilling's home.
Schilling is still in the middle of a lawsuit, filed by Rhode Island's economic development agency after the collapse of 38 Studios, the video game company he founded. That agency approved a $75 million loan guarantee for 38 Studios which later went bankrupt.
However, on Facebook, Schilling's wife Shonda said the sale wasn't because they needed the money but instead because they're downsizing as their children get older.
