RANDOLPH, Mass. -- Four teenagers are under arrest and charged with the murder of a Randolph man. Police said the man was shot outside his home.

Two 18-year-olds, one 17-year-old and one 19-year-old were taken into custody in connection with the late night shooting.

Police said the murder may be drug related.

The suspects fled after shooting the man but not before witnesses saw them and the Jeep they used as a get-away car.

The victim, 21-year-old Kyle McManus, was rushed to the hospital but died.

Investigators believe he may have known the shooter.

“We want to assure the neighbors that again, this is something that we think is an isolated incident. I think it would be fair to say that we are following up on the potential of some drug involvement,” said Michael Morrissey, Norfolk Co. District Attorney.

The victim’s cousin said she could not imagine that drugs were involved.

“He was a good kid, it’s just out of the blue,” she said.

Around 6 a.m. Sunday morning police tracked down the Jeep that witnesses saw leaving the scene of the crime.

“With the help of the Brockton Police, the Randolph Police and the State Police, we were able to find the vehicle in Brockton and subsequently find the individuals who had occupied the Jeep which was believed to be at about the time of the shooting,” said District Attorney Morrissey.

All four teenagers are expected to be arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday morning.
