Woman shot in hunting accident continues recovery

NORTON, Mass. -- The Norton woman who was accidentally shot by a state trooper last month is recovering but remains in a Rhode Island hospital.
Cheryl Blair has not walked since the accident.
The Boston Herald reports she remains in intensive care and will likely stay in the hospital for at least another month.
An off-duty trooper was hunting when he accidentally shot the 66-year-old, who had been walking her dog at the time.
The trooper does not face any charges and has not been cited for the incident.
