NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A TV news crew in Connecticut unwillingly became part of a story when someone fired gunshots at its truck while it was doing a story on another shooting incident. No one was injured in either incident.

A reporter and cameraman from NBC affiliate WVIT-TV were sitting in their news truck Monday afternoon when the shots were fired. The crew was doing a story about a robbery at a Shelton Avenue market in which one of the suspects fired a shot into the ceiling.

After the robbery, the TV crew was in its truck near the market when someone opened fire. Bullets hit the back of a car that passed by the truck but missed the crew.

No arrests have been made. Police are searching for suspects in both incidents.
