2 armed suspects rob Dartmouth convenience store

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WHDH) -- Two masked men robbed a Dartmouth convenience store on Tuesday, and terrorized the female clerk working at the time.

The female clerk frantically called 911 after the two left the store.

Surveillance video captured one man armed with a handgun, and the other with a shotgun.

As soon as the first man barged through the door, video captured him pointing the shotgun at the woman working behind the counter at the C & S variety store. The other man stood guard.

The clerk's fear was evident as she quickly handed over the cash they demanded. Police say they also took cigarettes before taking off.

The employee wasn't hurt during the robbery.

Police are not releasing any more information as their investigation is ongoing. They are hoping for tips from the public after seeing the video.
