FALL RIVER, Mass. (WHDH) -- One Fall River woman is dealing with a Super Tuesday mix-up after officials said -- according to their records, anyway -- that she was dead.

Maureen McCloskey, 84, tried to vote Tuesday but people at the polls said records show she was dead.

“She came over with a white piece of paper: ‘oh you died’,” Maureen said. “And I said ‘I didn’t find my name in the obituaries, either’!”

It turns out Maureen had moved to a new apartment last year, and the person who used to live at the address was deceased.

After showing that she was still very much alive and kicking, McCloskey was allowed to vote.
