High school placed in lockdown after possible threat

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville was briefly placed on lockdown Thursday morning.
Lakeville police say the lockdown came in response to a possible threat but did not immediately elaborate.
Lakeville and Freetown police went to the school and investigated. Police determined there was no immediate threat to students and faculty and the lockdown was terminated.
Lakeville Police are currently investigating the incident.
