Teen driver in Kingston crash arraigned

KINGSTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- A teenager accused of crashing her car into a school bus was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and drug possession on Thursday.
Monica Knight, 17, sprinted out of court wearing a GPS monitoring bracelet on her ankle.
Prosecutors said she crashed her car head on into a bus near Silver Lake High School in Kingston in March.
Two classmates in Knight’s car suffered serious brain injuries. Police said no one was wearing a seatbelt.
Investigators said there were prescription drugs in the car at the time of the accident.
Police said more charges could be filed depending on the results of a toxicology test.
