UNION, Conn. (AP) -- Connecticut state police say a 12-year-old boy they describe as severely autistic who went missing at Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union has been found.
Officials say Jonathan Troche was found in a private home in Ashford on Saturday. They say he appeared to be OK, but was transported to Children's Medical Center as a precaution.
No other information was immediately available.
Police received a 911 call shortly before noon reporting Troche was missing at the park. The Windsor resident was at the park with his family and siblings. He had been last seen about 11:30 a.m.
Police said Troche has limited vocabulary.
Police said the boy is a skilled hiker and swimmer.
