Needham man struck, killed by motorist in Randolph

RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) -- State Police are looking for a motorist who authorities say struck and killed a Needham man on Route 24 in Randolph.

Adam T. Trudeau was on foot at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday when he was struck. Police say he may have been standing in the middle lane of the road, facing oncoming traffic when he was struck.

State Police say the car that hit Trudeau may have been a red Hyundai driven by a man. It initially stopped but left t before the driver spoke to police.

Police also are investigating why Trudeau was out of his vehicle.
