PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) -- A Rhode Island city plans to hold a moment of silence to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Officials with the city of Pawtucket say the ceremony will be held in the City Hall lobby at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The public is invited to attend.
The city's fire chief, the fire department chaplain and Mayor Donald Grebien are scheduled to make brief remarks before the moment of silence.
Grebien says the event is intended to be a solemn and dignified way of remembering the attacks.
