BOSTON (WHDH) -- A man dubbed “the bearded bandit” hit a fifth bank one day after the FBI announced a new reward for his capture, authorities said.
Barrington, Rhode Island police put out a picture of the man who walked into the TD Bank around 6 p.m. -- without a weapon, demanding cash.
He got away with money - and based on his appearance, police think it's the same man who hit four other banks in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Yesterday, the FBI announced a $5,000 reward for help tracking down the "bearded bandit" seen here in earlier bank robberies.
The FBI said his crime spree began in February and in three of the robberies, he told the teller he had a gun.
