QUINCY, Mass. (AP) -- A buyer has been found for the Quincy home owned by the longtime girlfriend of Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger, and proceeds of the sale are expected to pay federal fines.

Catherine Greig is serving an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to charges related to the couple's 16 years on the run. She was also assessed a $150,000 fine.

The Boston Herald reported that according to a joint court filing by Greig's attorney and the U.S. Attorney's office, the four-bedroom, split-level ranch assessed for nearly $350,000 is under a purchase and sales agreement.

Greig bought the house in 1986.

Bulger, the former leader of the notorious Winter Hill Gang and an FBI informant, has pleaded not guilty to charges of participating in 19 murders. He awaits trial.
