Police investigating motorcycle crash in Braintree

BRAINTREE, Mass. (WHDH) -- A motorcyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries following an accident in Braintree.

Police said the Sunday evening crash occurred on Quincy Ave. and Allen Street.

The rider was taken to South Shore Hospital and later transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Officials said the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
