COHASSET, Mass. (WHDH) -- A man drowned in Cohasset's Aaron River Reservoir.

The Fire Department said two people were in a canoe when it capsized late Thursday night.

One man surfaced but the other man did not.

Search crews recovered the victim's body early Friday morning.

"Members of the Cohasset Fire Department and Scituate Fire dive teams recovered the body of a 23-year-old Scituate male. He's been brought to shore and detectives are looking into this,” said Chief Bill Quigley of the Cohasset Police Department.

Police said the man's body was about 30 yards from the shore.

His name had not yet been released.
