Topsfield Fair food vendor accused of sexual assault

TOPSFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Police in Topsfield began investigating a possible fair felony.

A 30-year-old woman said she was sexually assault by a food vendor at the Topsfield Fair.

Paul Carson of Rochester, New Hampshire appeared in court Tuesday, pleading not guilty to the rape charge.

Investigators said thousands of people attend the fair every year.

Carson is being held on $25,000 cash bail.
