'Hiring our Heroes' - Veterans Job Fair Event in Taunton

NBC News is committed to a division-wide initiative to get our veterans back to work. Our partner is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which launched Hiring Our Heroes in March of 2011.

A local event will be taking place Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 in Taunton at the following location:

Join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development for a Veterans Career and Resource Fair on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Veterans, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses are encouraged to stop by the Taunton Holiday Inn from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. to meet employers and resource providers with available jobs and services.

Presented by the Taunton Career Center in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Education and Training and the Bristol County Workforce Investment Board, the Veterans Career and Resource Fair will feature a variety of employers offering both full- and part-time positions across many sectors.
