Family of teen who fell from plane files lawsuit

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The family of a North Carolina teenager who fell from a plane headed to Logan Airport two years ago is suing.

Delvonte Tisdale got on a plane in Charlotte after sneaking onto the tarmac and climbing into the wheel well.

Investigators said he fell from the wheel well to the ground in a Milton neighborhood.

His family is suing the city of Charlotte, the airport and the airline, claiming negligence.

An attorney for the city of Charlotte said it can’t be held responsible for the actions of the teen.
