Fire destroys Hanover auto repair shop

HANOVER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A fire ripped through an auto repair shop in Hanover.

A police officer on patrol spotted the fire overnight Thursday.

Crews put out the fire, but the building was destroyed.

There were no injuries.

We want to clarify something we reported earlier today: The fire was not at Almeida’s Auto Repair on Washington Street. Almedia’s Auto Repair continues to be open for business.
