Mass. DA: death of hunter "non-suspicious"

DOUGLAS, Mass. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 56-year-old hunter whose body was found in the woods in Douglas in central Massachusetts.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Monday night that the death doesn't appear to be suspicious. Early said in a statement the man's body was found by other hunters near West Street at about 10:30 a.m.
He said the state medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.
Douglas police, State Police and state Environmental Police are conducting the investigation.
