Concord water bottle ban goes into effect Jan 1

CONCORD, Mass. (WHDH) -- With the New Year comes a new ban in Concord. On January 1st, a ban on single-serving water bottles takes effect, in Concord.

Concord apparently became the first community in the nation to outlaw the bottles.

They made the decision in an effort to improve the environment.
