School van driver talks about road rage incident

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WHDH) -- A school van driver in New Bedford spoke about a bizarre road rage incident.
The man suffered wounds to the back of his neck and his nose.
Police said the attack was part of a bizarre road rage incident last Wednesday.
The driver was slashed on the back of his neck and his nose.
Police said a 19-year-old suspect went after him with a knife, after the van driver honked at him.
The school van was full of students at the time of the attack.
"It bothers me a lot that my kids had to see that. It was a frightening moment for me,” said the bus driver.
Police arrested the 19-year-old following the incident.
He is facing several charges, including armed assault to murder.
He claims he only attacked the van driver because the driver said he had a gun and would kill him.
