Winchester HS honors former Navy Seal, Doherty
WINCHESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- Winchester High School honored former Navy Seal Glen Doherty Thursday by retiring his number.
Doherty was one of four Americans killed in the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya last year.
The ceremony was scheduled to be held before the school's varsity wrestling match Thursday night.
As a tribute to Doherty, Winchester athletes will also wear camouflage uniforms at several events in February.
