Man accused of child rape held without bail

KINGSTON, R.I. -- A Kingston, R.I. man accused of raping a young child has been ordered held without bail.

Joseph Gardner, 26, was accused of attacking a three year-old girl last week.

The case has caught a lot of attention because Gardner was out on bail for a different crime at the time of the alleged sexual assault.

In August he was charged with raping another five-year old girl.
