Man suspected in abduction attempt in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- Fall River Police are looking for a man behind an attempted abduction.

Officers said the man grabbed a 66-year-old woman and tried to force her into a car at Kennedy Park.

She was able to escape by kicking him and hitting him in the face with a rock, which left him bloody.

Police said the suspect is a 5-foot-9 man in his 30's with dark hair. The car he was driving was a tan or gray Honda Accord or Honda Civic.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
