Boston Marathon racers get special honor in Hopkinton
HOPKINTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- A pair of marathon racers got a special honor in Hopkinton.
A life-size bronze statue of Dick and Rick Hoyt now sits near the starting line of the Boston Marathon.
The father-son team have been racing in the Boston marathon for three decades.
Rick has cerebral palsy, and his dad Dick pushes him during races in a special chair.
The statue portrays "Team Hoyt" during a race.
