Police: Man arrested in Barre for using counterfeit cash

BARRE, Mass. -- A man was busted Sunday for the alleged use of counterfeit cash in Barre.
Police say the 20-year-old walked into a convenience store in Barre Sunday night and tried to make a purchase with a fake $20 bill.
The store clerk called police; officers quickly arrived and arrested Philip Wood.
They say when he was taken into custody, Wood was carrying two other fake bills.
