Pedestrian involved in hit-and-run in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Worcester and police were on scene late into the night reconstructing the accident.
The person was hit by a car while trying to cross at the crossroads of Grafton and Hamilton Street.
Police were called to the scene with reports of a person hit by a car. Police did shut down the streets for some time as they investigated.
It is believed that the car that hit the pedestrian fled the scene. Worcester Police were not releasing any information early Monday morning.
