Police investigate double shooting in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- Police in Worcester are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Police say a 23-year-old man and 58-year-old woman were shot outside a house on Orne Street after the man had a brief verbal exchange with someone in a car that had just pulled up.

The car then sped off.
