WESTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) -- Massachusetts State Police say a pilot suffered minor injuries after crashing a small plane during a solo training flight in Westhampton.
Authorities say the crash happened during takeoff from a private airstrip on Sunday.
State police say the 49-year-old man was participating in a solo training flight when he crashed the 1946 model 46J3 CUB.
Officials say it's unclear what caused the crash. The FAA will conduct an investigation.
