CHICOPEE, Mass. (WHDH) -- A state trooper was hit by a car in Chicopee Saturday night.
The trooper was struck on Interstate 291 near the Mass Pike. Troopers say the officer had stopped a driver for a traffic stop. The driver took off, dragging the trooper, before crashing the car.
The trooper is expected to be okay.
The driver is under arrest.
