Karate instructor accused of sexually assaulting a child
SHREWSBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Shrewsbury karate instructor has been accused of sexually assaulting a child in Texas last year.
The alleged victim, a 13-year-old girl, did not report the incident until recently.
Police arrested 41-year-old Eric Rossini of Grafton over the weekend as a fugitive from justice after police in Arlington, Texas charged him with two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Rossini is an instructor as the MassDojo Karate School.
Police say the crimes allegedly occurred in Arlington, Texas last July.
Earlier this year Rossini was charged with domestic assault and battery on a woman at his home in Grafton. He was also charged with an illegal wire-tap of a police officer last year.
Rossini was arraigned on Monday in Westboro District Court and was freed on $25,000 cash bail.
