Holy Cross student arrested, charged after online threat

WORCESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Holy Cross student was arrested and charged after something he posted online.

According to authorities, 21-year-old student, Gregory Hamalian posted threats using social media, with plans of “shooting up” a Bay State movie theater.

Hamalian is being charged with terroristic threats and threatening to commit a crime.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Worcester District Court.
