BARRE, Mass. (AP) -- Authorities say an elderly woman has died in a four-alarm house fire in Barre.
A spokeswoman for the state Fire Marshal's office confirmed the fatality in the fire reported late Thursday morning.
An investigator for the Fire Marshal's office is on the way to the scene.
