Small dog causes craziness at Miami courthouse

MIAMI, Fl. (WHDH) -- A small dog caused some craziness at a Miami courthouse.

It kept trying to get inside, presumably to find its owner.

Kristi Krueger has the story you have to see to believe.

The little guy was doggone crazy with worry when his owner left him outside the courthouse.

He scratched the doors; he paced the floors, trying desperately to find a way in.

Finally - success was achieved for the perky and most persistent pooch.

Sneaking in through an open door, searching for his owner, somewhere inside.

The doggy's day in court didn't last long.

Less than a minute later, a bailiff tried to escort our furry friend back outside.

But he wouldn’t go without a fight.

Finally, the bailiff shows the cunning canine the stairs.

But the strong arm of the law was no match for the manipulating mutt who figured, 'Okay, I'll use these stairs instead.'

Then - reason to jump for joy -- Daddy's back.

The courthouse caper ended peacefully as man and man's best friend reunited.
