Woman says her faith saved her life from plane crash
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WHDH) -- An Indiana woman is crediting her faith with saving her life.
Diana McKeown was praying when a plane crashed into her home. She believes divine intervention spared her life.
This Palm Sunday McKeown felt closer to God than ever before. It stems from what happened last week when a plane dove into both her house and her neighbors.
Before the plane crashed, Diana was on her knees in her living room praying. The phone rang so she got up and moved to the other side of the room to answer the phone.
"And we were actually talking about her church. The next thing I knew there was a huge explosion. All the other flooring had gone to the basement. It had torn everything else up. My chair and that small area were really all that was left,” McKeown.
She said if it wasn’t for her pausing from prayer to take the phone call from a friend she hadn’t spoken to in over a year, she would have likely died.
