Runner pushes mascot after winning race

UNDATED (WHDH) -- An Algerian runner is receiving criticism for an encounter with a mascot.
The man won the 3,000 meter steeplechase final during the European Athletics Championships in Finland Sunday.
The competition's mascot walked over with a bag. The man slapped the bag to the ground and shoved the mascot.
A 14-year-old girl was inside the costume and had the wind knocked out of her.
The runner also pushed a mascot after winning the same race in 2010.
