Thousands participate in tomato battle

SAN DIEGO (WHDH) -- Thousands of people spent their Saturday in one messy food fight.

Participants were all seeing red and were ready for a war -- of sorts.

It was all part of the annual "Tomato Battle" which came from and old Spanish tradition.
