Worker claims the pizzeria she works in is haunted
HAUGHTON, La. (NBC) -- One Louisiana pizzeria is offering pepperoni - with a little paranormal activity.
Workers said the restaurant is haunted after cameras captured what some are calling a possible pizzeria poltergeist in action.
At a normal pizzeria, when things start disappearing - there's usually a perfectly good explanation.
But at a pizza parlor in Louisiana, there's more than just vanishing pizza.
"When I came in the next morning, I found both of these ice scoops across the room over on the floor," said Lori Evans, a pizza worker.
Someone or something had been throwing kitchen supplies around for weeks.
"For instance when the Tabasco sauce hit me in the back, I was there," said Evans.
Evans wanted to get to the bottom of the pizza poltergeist. So she checked the security cameras. What she saw at six in the morning didn’t look normal.
"You can see them come up like this in the video if you watch it close enough and then they go this way and they end up on the floor over there,” said Evans.
Another security video from a different day shows a bleach bottle taking a dive. But that area of the store is sturdy and the items in question were resting on rubber mats, so they certainly didn't slip off.
"They’re not gonna fall off of that lipped tray," said Evans.
As for the explanation, Evans said it's "something out of this world."
Evans believes that the video is proof of some sort of paranormal activity and thinks that whatever is in the kitchen is friendly and is just being playful.
