Woman, 76, passes out in Walmart, gets robbed

ROXBORO, N.C. (NBC) -- An elderly woman in a motorized scooter blacked out in a Walmart – and wound up being robbed while asleep.

The incident was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras as Queen Walters, 76, blacked out at the Walmart on Durham Road in Roxboro.

Video cameras captured a heavy-set male, about 5 feet 10 and 240 pounds, coming up to the woman and taking her purse from her shopping cart.

Person County paramedics responded to the scene. Police are still looking for the man who walked out with the purse.
