Man takes his pizza to-go, from Mass. to Mississppi

STOUGHTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Massachusetts native went on a supreme road trip across the country in search of his favorite pizza pie.
David Schuler lives in Mississippi but he says he just can't find a good slice down south.
So he drives to Stoughton every year to pick up a colossal carryout order.
He's made the first leg of his annual pilgrimage from Madison, Mississippi to Stoughton all for a taste of home.
“This is just what I do for my sisters and family so they can have some spa pizza,” said Schuler.
Schuler grew up on Town Spa Pizza before his family moved to Mississippi 38 years ago.
For the past 10 years, David's been the family delivery man. He drives back home to stock up on pies for his seven sisters and one brother.
“It gets them all excited too. They’re all waiting for me to pull up,” said Schuler.
Last year - he took home 150 pies, but this year it's 250!
“Last year's 150 - 2 weeks ago, the last pizza got eaten,” said Schuler.
“He's our biggest order to go, especially for the distance where it's going,” said Dick Phillips of Town Spa Pizza.
With dinner in the trunk - David's got a 20 hour return trip, but he's got plenty of fuel to get home!
“It’s a good thing I’m making another run, ‘cause we need to reload!”
