CA restaurant offers diners a 'no phone' incentive

BOSTON (WHDH) - A restaurant in California is giving diners an added incentive not to use their cell phones.

The restaurant is offering a five percent discount to customers who will check their cell phones with restaurant staff.

Servers make the offer to diners when they introduce themselves. The owner says they want people to be more in the moment with both the meal, and each other.
