NEW YORK CITY (WHDH) -- Would you pay $350 for a 12-ounce steak?
One of New York City’s oldest restaurants is betting that many people will.
"The Old Homestead" is hoping to be known for offering rich, flavorful *kobe* steaks from Japan.
They said the cows are pampered with massages and fed a special diet to produce beef with more fat marbling than USDA prime beef.
That pricey dinner may explain why New York ranks number one for the most expensive U.S. city to spend a night out.
According to Trip Advisor, it costs $456 for a couple to book a four star hotel, share a taxi, and have dinner and cocktails in one night!
Boston ranks a close second at $450, while San Francisco rounds out the top three with $429.
