BOSTON (WHDH) -- MIT unveiled a map you can wear.
Researchers created a device called Slam Equipment.
It stands for "simultaneous localization and mapping."
The gear maps a building in real time.
Slam Equipment was designed to assist firefighters and first responders during emergency situations.
