Helmet-cam video gives closer look at Afghanistan war

UNDATED (WHDH) -- The nation got a closer look at an American soldier at war. Helmet-cam video showed a U.S. soldier getting wounded while fighting in Afghanistan.

The man said he was hit a dozen times in the video.

The clip was posted on YouTube Wednesday.

The video's description states the soldier made it home and did not suffer any permanent injuries as a result of this firefight.
