Pilot pops the questions on bumpy flight over Chicago

UNDATED (WHDH) -- It was a plane proposal that not every passenger would be pleased about.

A pilot took his girlfriend on a bumpy ride before popping the question.

The couple was flying over Chicago when he told her that the plane's controls were malfunctioning.

He gave her a checklist containing a list of emergency procedures ending with: "Ring Engagement Procedure."

Luckily for the pilot, his girlfriend was impressed and accepted his "in descent proposal."
