Emu stops traffic in Cape Canaveral, Florida

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fl. (WHDH) -- Rush-hour got a little hairy for drivers in South Florida when a huge Australian bird showed up and stopped traffic.

Taco is a four year old emu, a five foot tall, flightless, Australian bird who was out looking for a partner for mating season, according to his owner.

It took several deputies to get the bird off the road and out of danger.
